Experience a real-life working farm!
Experience a day in the life of Farmer Darryl as he invites you to join him on his family farm in Kyneton, Victoria.
Participants will experience a hands-on day as they’re immersed in the full range of farm activities; from holding and tending to the baby animals to feeding the pigs, tending the vegetables and chickens, and bottle feeding the baby lambs and goats.
In true Farmer Darryl style, Farmer for a Day participants will walk away with new experiences, knowledge and of course, having had loads of fun.

WHERE IS IT?
Farmer Darryl’s Young Farmer for a Day is held 5 minutes drive from the beautiful regional town of Kyneton, Victoria an easy 1-hour drive north of Melbourne.
HOW MANY CHILDREN?
Farmer Darryl hosts six children per 2 farmers.
WHAT AGE CHILDREN?
Children aged 7 to 17 are invited to join Farmer Darryl’s Farmer for a Day program. They must be independent and able to be away from their parents for the day. All farmers have a current working with children check.
DURATION AND COST?
Farmer for a Day runs from 10 am to 4 pm and costs $330 inc GST.
WHAT CAN THE PARENTS DO?
Parents can enjoy Kyneton’s rich cafe and restaurants, walks, gardens, art studios, historic Piper Street or explore Hanging Rock and surrounds.
